Scarce Original Winter Poster by Martin Peikert, whose designs are enjoying increasing popularity for years. It advertises the first cable car in the Engadine, which opened in 1955 and connected the Corviglia ski area with St. Moritz’ local mountain, Piz Nair.
In the choice of motif, Peikert relied on the speed of the gondola. A cable would only have disturbed the message – the white swoosh speaks for itself.
