Neues Bauen (New Building) meets Art Déco: Spectacular Poster by Otto Jakob Plattner (1886–1951), promoting the first public swimming pool in the canton of Baselland (Gartenbad Gitterli in Liestal, built by Max Tüller). The elongated diver filling the whole diagonale and emphasising the dynamics of movement, the choice of the moment just before diving in, which the viewer can hardly wait for, the use of only three colors, the entire design, still sober despite everything… All this make this original poster an icon of Swiss poster history.
