Original tourism poster, assembled from three photographs taken by Heinrich Schellenberg, commissioned by the Union valaisanne du tourisme, which lured winter guests to Valais using the Médran chairlift above Verbier, opened in 1950. The choice of this unusual lift was not accidental: with its openwork yet covered metal cabin, it was almost a gondola.
A pretty original poster that gives a good impression of the aesthetics and fashion of the 1950s (back when the world was supposedly still in order).
