Original Swissair poster from 1937, which was originally commissioned by the Swiss Transport Center from Eugen Häfelfinger (1898–1979)—who was active in various fields—to be used with several text variations, primarily in Germany and France. Swissair then, for obvious reasons, jumped on the bandwagon and produced its own edition, also with several text variations, but without a printer’s mark. A charming poster, though the Swissair versions are significantly rarer than those from the tourism authority.

However, the audience at the time probably didn't take the slogan «Quick and comfortable» too seriously: flights with the DC-2 were—compared to train travel, for example—certainly not comfortable (more of a loud, chilly adventure that rattled your bones), and «quick» was also quite relative in fog and rain.
