New Building Style Meets Art Deco: A spectacular poster by Otto Jakob Plattner (1886–1951) advertising the first public swimming pool in the canton of Baselland (Gartenbad Gitterli in Liestal, built by Max Tüller). The elongated diver, who fills the entire diagonal and emphasizes the dynamism of the movement; the choice of the moment just before the dive, which the viewer can hardly wait to see; the use of just three colors; the overall design, which remains understated despite it all… All of this makes this original poster an icon of Swiss poster history.
