Original poster, designed in 1943 by Peter Birkhäuser for the Basler Kaufhaus Rheinbrücke in the style of New Objectivity – and a poster, which, given its emphasis on maximum utility, could only be printed during the years of the Second World War. On the other hand: at least Swiss companies were able to promote consumer goods at all.
