The original version of Alex Walter Diggelmann’s famous seagull poster, which makes the viewer feel as though they are part of the scene—standing at Zurich’s Bellevue and looking out at the Quaibrücke and the Alpine panorama. After World War II, the local tourism authority had him revise the design and produce it in two different versions:
