A magnificent Original Swiss Travel Poster, designed by Martin Peikert and printed in Zurich in 1946 on behalf of the winter sports resort of Pontresina. Magnificent because Peikert once again succeeds here in wonderfully capturing a sense of carefree joy and zest for life. The young beauty, at any rate, who looks out from the window barred with characteristic Engadine wrought iron and marvels with anticipation at how much snow has fallen overnight, is happy.
